# Faith is the key to operating with God Rom. 10: 17
# Faith is therefore spiritual not carnal because God is a Spirit
# Faith is established on word of God prompted by the Spirit of God
# Every work of faith is initiated by God to man through word of faith
# In faith, there are 2 things no man can do for you:
1- what you must do 2- what God must do. John 11: 39, 43, 1 Cor. 3: 6
# Faith does not make things easy, it makes it possible Matt. 19: 26
# Your faith in God must be tested: instrument of test is man, devil by trials, temptation and persecution. God allows it to test our faith:
# The word is the barrow meter through which our faith is tested
# We overcome test of faith only by the word of God and patience. Matt. 4: 4-11; Ps. 107: 17-19; Jas. 1: 2-4, 5: 11; 1 Peter 5: 10. Heb. 10: 34-36
# Warfare can only be fought and won by faith not flesh with the sword of the Spirit that is the word of faith. Eph. 6: 17, 2 Tim. 4: 7
# Without faith, it is impossible to please God Heb. 11: 6
# The enemy of faith is fear, doubt or unbelieving- all in the realm of flesh. Jas 1: 6-8
# Whatever is not done by faith is sin Rom. 14: 23, Jas. 4: 17
# Faith in the word God spoke to us is crucial to answered prayer. Matt. 21: 22
# Our faith must produce hope connected with love of God. 1 Cor. 13: 13
Miracle usually follow test just like Testimony is always preceded by Test Mark 10: 29-30; Ps 105: 17-22; Rom. 4: 18-2213043492_1014571931958592_8781519736292803443_n.jpg

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Phil. 3:10
The key to knowing Him is: 1- to be willing to pay the price, suffer for the sake of the cross. 2- Paul counted his golden spoon birth, excellent education, highest status in career and in the Society, wealth, fame, power, Jewish birth etc as dung for Christ. v. 3, 7-8.
What are the things that are competing with God in our lives? Those are the idols we must be willing to drop for the Lord to have His rightful position in our lives. To follow Christ is not just for what we will gain, get or benefit. It also include what we must forsake. The Lord said, to be His disciple, we must deny yourself, carry your cross and follow Him. May the Lord help us. Beloved, have a great weekend. ❤

A word from the Lord can turn your whole life around for good and change the course of your life for eternal reference point that generations will benefit from. The story of Peter’s life, a fisherman turned apostle is a humbling example. As you go this week, may you receive life transforming word from the Lord. Amen.
“And Simon answering said to him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing; nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net broke.” Luke 5:5-6. Acts 2:41. (Webster)
May God turn your toiling and torment to all round triumph and testimony in Jesus name. ❤15179167_1839705186248037_384183623523451646_n.jpg

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Matt. 6:10

There are three factors essential in prayer for a Believer seeking God’s face. 1- His will 2- His will 3- His will.
For prayer to be effectively answered, we must be willing to make His will the centre focus of our prayer. Jesus is our example. He said, “..not my will..” Matt 26:39. Heb. 10:7

1Sam. 1:6: Hannah was barren for seven years. She had prayed out of God’s will for those years. Then, she prayed His will. “And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” vs.11. Then, God answered.

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.” 1John 5:14

May the will of the Lord be our desire and our delight in Jesus name. Amen!

Sing with me:
Reign in me
Sovereign Lord, Reign in me (2ce)
Captivate my heart
Let Thy will be done
Establish there Your throne
Let Thy kingdom come
Reign in me
Sovereign Lord, Reign in me.

For this God is our God
For ever and ever
He will be our guide
From now, even unto the end. Have a great weekend brethren. 11403041_10153305583304003_1785339492224473683_n

It is easier to be a success than to raise a successor!
“Nothing that I had worked for and earned meant a thing to me, because I knew that I would have to leave it to my successor, and he might be wise, or he might be foolish—who knows? Yet he will own everything I have worked for, everything my wisdom has earned for me in this world. It is all useless.” Eccl. 2: 18-19 (GNB). Read 18-21.
Lesson: People concentrate their attention on how to succeed and to retain success rather than care much for the successor whether he is a wise or foolish son. Our efforts should be more to raise good successor. Success without successor is abysmal failure. Jesus is our Example. He raised disciples who took the gospel to nations and generations are still being blessed by their works and glorifying our Father in heaven. Prov. 22: 6 NIV. 1John 1:1-3
When your ministry becomes your misery, you are either missing God or playing games. It simply calls for repentance and restitution.
Friends, have a great week ahead! 💚💙💜💛

TEXT: Heb.1: 1-3, Gen. 25:21-23, Judges 13:1-11.
God speaks to his people willingly. God desires that his people will hear him and understand when he speaks. God speaks through signs and audible voice so that his people will hear and understand him without any ambiguity God is not happy that often times, His people fail to seek his leading before they embark on what to do. When we seek the Lord, he will answer us Jer. 33:3.
Isaac and Rebecca sought the lord even before Rebecca conceived. While the babies were in her womb, she also sought the Lord. And the Lord spoke precisely to her Gen.25: 22-23.
An angel who prophesied the birth of her son, Samson, when she told her husband, Manoah decided to inquire from the Lord and made a request that the angel should come again visited Manoh’s wife. The Lord sent that angel whom, Manoah then met to confirm the divine/prophetic birth of Samson Jer. 29:12-13.
God spoke to Elijah in a quiet place through an angel where he laid after fleeing from Jezebel; he also spoke to him in the cave after thunderous sounds. God spoke to Job in whirlwind. God can speak to his people at will, he’s the Lord.
May we hear and be able to do His bidden when speaks.
How Can We Seek God? We seek him for many reasons ranging from needs to projects etc but it’s also important to seek his face just to know him more and to fellowship or develop relationship with him. We can also seek the Lord’s face when we have any burden even for the nation or church (Body of Christ) inclusive.
HABAKKUK: Hab. 1:1-11 He saw injustice in the land with violence, wanton destruction and wickedness vs.1-4 Then the Lord answered Habakkuk and told him what he was about to do vs. 5-11 Again, Habakkuk complained to the Lord about man’s nature of greed and avarice VS 12-17. Then, he sought the Lord Hab. 2:1. Again, the Lord replied him. vs. 2-20. Finally, Habakkuk prayed for mercy despite deserved judgment vs. 3:1-2. Finally, in his prayer of intercession, he began to worship and prophecy restoration for Israel. vs. 17-19
Quite time is a time we stay alone with God in worship read and meditation and listen to what he will impress on our heart for the day, season, and future. IITim.3:14–15. Family alter must be functional. God speaks when brethren worship and pray together likewise in the church. Heb.10:25. Where two or three gather together in his name, the Lord is there to do wonders.
1.       One can seek his face for direction on issues pertaining to one’s personal life, family and ministry even business. The best ministry to do is the one ordained of God; the best business is the one the Lord asks you to do. While the best spouse is the one God has given to you. You have fulfilment no matter the challenge and there must be a turn around because, the glory of the Lord must manifest for the world to see. Your commitment will be rewarded with a glorious success and Trans-generational blessings.
2.       We seek God because of the integrity of his world. PS. 138:2. His word is as constant as the sun and the moon in the orbit. It’s like a certified cheque; it’s as sure as a king’s seal.
3.       We need to see the Lord on issues that border on destiny because of its implication on our lives.
4. Hearing from God prevents confusion, quarrels or misunderstanding in the home.
Matt.1: 20. If Joseph did not hear from God through an angel, he would have gone ahead with his plans to send away Mary; his betrothed wife whom he thought should be a virgin but was now pregnant.
5.       We seek God’s face for truth about any matter. The Holy Spirit will never lie because the Spirit of Jesus is the spirit of truth. John 16:13, 14:26,1John2: 27. Women played key role in the nation of Israel either as king’s mother or queen. Women like Esther who could seek God’s face, Deborah, wise woman of Tekoa, etc. were positively able to impact both the nation and the people.
Since there is no vacuum in the nature, when we don’t seek God, it becomes inevitable to walk by sight no many issues we ought to approach by faith. Isa. 30:1-9, 31:1. We seek help from Egypt, which simply means outside God’s will for our lives. Jer. 5:30-31 Failure to seek God by yourself can make you believe lies or deception of false prophets. Ahab refuse to seek God neither was he prepared to listen to the true prophet of God most high i.e. Micaiah, inevitably, he believed lies that his Ego deserved from lying prophets.

“so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’[a] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Phil. 2:15 NIVUK
We are the salt and light of the earth. Light cannot be hidden because it must shine. This is the radiance of God’s glory in our lives as believers. We shine in character more contrary to crookedness/perversion the world exhibits just like the light shining brighter in the midst of darkness! Jesus said, so long as I’m in the world, I am the Light of the world. That is who we are in Him. John 9:5
On the other hand, as salt is not seen but, quiet yet indispensable in soup, that is how much believers should be humble, meek yet powerful in this world to show case the life of God.
“‘Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” Isaiah 60: 1-2 NIVUK
Brethren, Family and Friends, may your light ever so shine for your generation to know God and praise Him. ❤27067851_1844204462301495_8127022599905276270_n
