“Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20.
All that Jesus was pointing His Disciples’ attention to is that He would not have to die to perform miracles and feed the multitude but, He had to die to save souls. Therefore, our concentration must not be on food and drink, casting out demons or material things (thank God for that). Instead, we should focus on winning souls, disciple them to maturity and fruit bearing. John 15: 1-8, 16
“For God’s kingdom does not consist of food and drink, but of righteousness, peace, and joy produced by the Holy Spirit. For the person who serves the Messiah in this way is pleasing to God and approved by people.” Rom. 14: 17-18 ISV
Beloved, have a great week.
