“With a solemn oath to our ancestor Abraham he promised to rescue us from our enemies and allow us to serve him without fear, so that we might be holy and righteous before him all the days of our life.” Luke 1:73-75 (GNB)
Whenever God performed miracles, it’s not just so His people can feel good. It’s to show His loving kindness to His people so they might know Him and have a deeper relationship with the Lord. On the other hand, it could be to deliver His people from oppression and bless them while dealing with their oppressors severely. That’s what happened in the case of Pharaoh and Israelites: they both acknowledge His Lordship and Israelites worship Him. Exo. 9:16, 12:50-51; Deut. 4:33-35,
Whatever miracles or blessings we receive from the Lord, it’s to draw us closer to God and for us to advance His kingdom not just to live like people of the world who have no hope.12507603_10154023785837223_2286540723617551048_n
