Scriptures are not meant for us just to feel good. These are inspired word from the Holy Spirit released to us always for our preparation for perfection and for good works. Therefore, a godly message must have these 4 ingredients failing which its flesh and will corrupt the hearer eventually: sound doctrine, rebuke, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

“Every Scripture passage is inspired by God. All of them are useful for teaching, pointing out errors, correcting people, and training them for a life that has God’s approval. They equip God’s servants so that they are completely prepared to do good things.” 2 Tim. 3:16-17. (GW)
