“If our hope in Christ is good for this life only and no more, then we deserve more pity than anyone else in all the world.” 1 Cor. 15:19 (GNB)

Our hope in Christ should not be based only on mundane things that unbelievers made their life ambition and call success. Instead, our hope should be on eternal life so that ,whatever we are blessed with on this would be used for eternal purpose. We are not to be carried away by the vagaries of life that must pass away and of no eternal value.

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked…” Rev. 3:17-18 (KJV). 1 John 2:15-17.
